Abstract

The objective of this paper is to present the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the use of
recycled raw material by community enterprises and the strategic management of this use. This study uses
qualitative methods including in-depth interviews with 12 key informants and a focus group with six
participants to discuss guidelines for the strategic management of community enterprises. In addition, the data
were analyzed using SWOT, a TOWS matrix, and descriptive analyses. From the study, we found that
community enterprises face many problems, such as product design, market channels, and lack of knowledge.
Therefore, we divide the strategic management of community enterprises that use recycled raw materials into
four strategies: product design, new distribution channels, promotion of the 3R concept, and promotion of the
circular economy.
